I'm thinking of moving my Weight Gain type art onto another account. I'm thinking of putting all of the WG stuff viewable here onto this other account in addition to keeping it here. New WG stuff, however, would be put onto the new account. If I decide to go through with it, I'll link it when it's ready.
No, I'm not ashamed or worried about what anyone thinks, I'm quite comfortable with what I draw. I just feel sort of as though the WG stuff really deserves its own area, and it'd be better for when I feel like doing my writing and poetry or whatever to just have two separate accounts. I dunno. Still thinking about it.

Since I havent had net for the past month I spent a lot of time doing some artwork which I have recently posted. I have a scanner now also, so I MAY upload more than once a year now. xD

You know what, I did some research and I understand your artwork now I feel bad about how I left our conversation. I found the previous piece of work through browsing (not by category) and I had never heard of it before. I think its very interesting now and would like to apologize for my blunt recognition of your pieces.

That is very kind of you. I'm curious as to what exactly you researched. I know how this type of work can be seen as a negative thing sometimes, and thats partially why I do what I do. It's sort of a long story to explain. ^_^ Even if you don't go into detail about what all you mean by research, I appreciate that you put effort to make it better. So thank you, it means a lot.

Well, basically what I did was first I was browsing pictures of felicia from darkstalkers and i saw your picture of her and i was like "ack why??" and then we had our descussion about it, then I saw that you had some more pictures in a similar style...I realized that this was not just you making fun of my favorite character...I then searched for weight gain art and left about 50 comments on all i could find asking people why they did that...
Most peolpe ended up telling me it was a sexual fetish, some told me it was for humor...i still dont fully understand it, but the good part is that now i realize its not just someone makingfun of my favorite characters. All my roomates think it is bizarre, but im slowly understanding, thanks also for being understanding, i had never seen thisstyle before.

To be honest, I'm still not 100% sure why everyone does it also. It is as easy as an attraction to larger women, for some people. Seeing as I am female, it's not that way for me. I am (as you might have noticed) a larger chick, so it actually made sense to me after a while, to show that big doesn't always mean hideously unnattractive as some people like to think and portray. Iit's a body size acceptance thing. All body sizes, really.
Also, I wouldn't make fun of Felicia, I used to have my room wallpapered with her sassy self.
Matter of fact, one of my first DA submissions was a picture I had done of a non-plump Felicia! She's in here somewhere. xD
ps. weight gain/expansion/bbw is not for everyone to like..or even understand. But acceptance is appreciated. My main problem with your "ew" was because people who like this type of art already feel ridiculed enough. They feel shame and the need to hide their interests from their peers, which also means that bigger women should feel like they have something to be ashamed of also.. see where I'm going with that?

*laughs* I decided (after seeing several others do it) to make an account specifically for stuff like BBW and Weight Gain type art. It seems like it would be nicer to dedicate a page solely to the large girl art. xD
